WEATHER FORECAST
SUMMARY. The barometric pressure has increased, and south-westerly galep have been reported in most parts with heavy showers. Snow has fallen in on the high country, and hail squalls have been experienced particularly in the West Coast and southermost districts. FORECAST. Present indications are for cold and changeable weather, with passing showers, but conditions are likely to improve shortly. Expect., strong but decreasing southerly winds. The barometer is rising- further everywhere.
