WEDDING
♦ — r BIETWISTLE— LUNN. A very quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church, Greymouth, on December 2Sth. when Agnes, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lunn, of Glasgow, Scotland, was united in thte holy bonds of matrimony to John, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Birtwistle, of Rishton, Lancashire, England, the Rev. Win. Trotter officiating. The bride was attired in a pretty dreas of cinnamon brown, with Tagel straw hat daintily trimmed with golden tulle and wallflowers. She wa« attended by Miss Alyce Aynsley as bridesmaid, who wore a neat tailormade costume of navy blue, and si pretty hat of blue and pink ninon. The role of best man was ably filled by Mr. Benjamin Woan, of Blackburn, Lancashire, England. The bride's present to tlto bridegroom was a gold ring, and tho bridegroom presented the bride witli a beautiful gold pendant and a gold chain and cross to the bridesmaid. After tho ceremony the wedding party a motored to the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Mortimer, Preston Road, where a sumptuous repast was i>artaken of and tne usual toasts honoured. Later in the day the happy couple loft by train, carrying with them the best wishes of v large circle of friends. The bride travellled in a pretty grey tailored costume, with hat to match.
