Received 10.20 p.m. MELBOURNE, Dec.~2gT Doctor Wade, a London scientist, who examined the oil-bearing deposits at Papua, recommended the Commonwealth Government immediately u> develop them. His advice was based on the discovery of evidence of petroleum along the costal belt eight to 12 miles wide. Surface indications were found over an area of 1500 square miles.
