CAR IN .FLAMES : MEN PJNNED BENiEATH.
G9ARTERTON; May 13. A serious acdident occurred on Friday night at' ii.45. d. A. Cadwallader when returniiig' to Carter ton from Martin-borough' in h. s car ,drove over the north approach of '{li€ Black Bridge and dropped a"bout ten feet. The car overturned and pinned him underneath. ■ ' l»t flung a passenger iiamed Annesley clear. Simultaneously the car burst into 'flames wheh quctly enveloped Cadwaltadcr. ' Atineslev extricated him and succeeded in subduiri'g- t-ho flames. Cadwallader \vas taken to the "oatet6n private lidspital badly burned al lover. His rijrht arm and two iegs are the worst. ~ The burns tlidugh serious, are not considered dangerous. ./ Tile car is a Gomplete wreck, only the :<;teel frame and engine being left. The car was only lately purchased.
