SEQUEL TO WRECKS.

In tha Arbitration Court to-day several cases arising out of the loss of the steamers Penguin and -Duco--:Were dealt w'th. la each instance liability was .admitted by ship owners. Mrs Abraham, whose hnsb' and was master of the Duco, was awarded £500 xagainst the Wellington Harbor Ferries Company.- In the cases against the Union Company with respect to the >week of the Penguin, orders were made as 'follows :-— Mary Hayes awarded £405;. Mrs Loosemore awarded £1,---004,': Public ''Trustee' to administer the residue of the estate for the benefit of hei posthumous child ; and Mrs F. Driscol awarded : £207 on : account of the death of her son. one of the officers. In the case of W. S. Rentoul, Engyieer, the Court prdeped the 7 payment of £135 to be administered by the Public Trust for the benefit of liis relatives.
