BOWLING CLUB AT HOKITIKA
HOKHTIKa; Feb 4. A largely attended public meeting wa, s held this evening when the project to form a bowling club was enthusiastically adopted. Ninety four members agreed to join. Mr W. Dun can was elected president, Mr A. J. Morton vice-president, W. Bray s.ecretary, E. B. Ma-bin treasurer., and a committee of five appointed. A suitable site on a municipal reserve at the rear of the_ gas works was selected, and immediate steps are to be taken with all the necessary works.
