ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION.

WLLINiGTQN, Feb .4. A meeting of the Welington centre of the Amateur Athletic Association was held to-night when the question of Kerr's walking was considered. It was stated that Kerr had never wilfully broken the rules which he was now quickly learning, and that he was a fair walker. The meeting decided to send Kerr with the New Zealand team to the championship meeting at Hobart. ,£2O was subscribed in the room and £.£2O more promised if needed.
