(per press association). Nelson, Jan 26. Tho English Cricketers arrived last night after a rainy trip from Blenheim. They, were welcomed by the Mayor and a large concourse in spite ©f the downpour. Warner and Whatman are the guests of Percy Adams, while the others are at the Masonic Hotel. Stanning aud Williams did not arrive, but come by steamer to-day. Dowson and Bosanquet have gone fishing. They join the team at Christ church. The team is to be entertained at a drive and luncheon to-day. The match begins to-morrow. Later. J The English cricketers wer* driven into the country to-day and partook of an afternoon tea at Bishopdale. - The match commences at 11 o'clock to-morrow. The wicket is still wet after Sunday's rain,
