South African War Loan
Legislative Council Nominees
(Received at 0 50 a. m.) Capetown, Jan 22. Mr Chamberlain announced that tke thirty million war loan was intended to relieve Britain's debt. The immediate relief revenue will be slight if any. Louis ±Jetha, C Vanhulstyn, Sirs G--1 Farrar, and Percy Fiizpatrick will 1 ptobably be nominated for the Trans--1 vaal Legislative Council, which- meets , in May. The sittings will be open to the public.
