ANOTHER STILL CONSPIRACY.

Christchurch, May 30. At the Magistrate's Court to-day George Fry was fined L 2 and costs L 5 2s on a charge of making a still head and a worm •without holding a license for such manufacture. The directions and plans for the work had been given by Rogers, irho took delivery of it, the worm, etc, and put them into Fry's carfc. They were seized by che customs and Fry was fined LIOO for haviug them in his jiosaession. It transpired that Rogers informed the Magistrate It is said Fry isthe victim of of Rogers's plot, also that Fry's tine would probably be mitigated in consequence of the Court's recommendation.
