[per press association.] Wellington, April 23. j At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union the proposal to send a New Zealand team to England was referred to the management committee. It was decided that the North and South match was not to be played this season. The N S Wales Union wrote hoping that the decision that no New Zealanders be sent to meet the Englishmen in Sydney be reversed. The request that the remainder of the sentence of disqualification imposed on Calnan, Harris, and Roberts, members of the last New Zealand team, for misconduct be remitted, was rejected. It wan decided to submit the proposed alterations in the laws of tho game to the English Union. The question of establishing an Australasiau Union was referred to the affiliated Unions.
