NATIVE RESERVES BILL.
His Worship the Mayor last evening received the following telegram from A. R. Guinness, M.H.R., which explains itself :— The question of the Native Reserves Bill is more difficult than the meeting seemed to think. The Government is anxious to deal fairly with .the interests of all parties concerned. It is uo use withdrawing the Bill, because that would mean putting off legislation to next session.
