OVERDOSE OF CHLORAL.
At^ the inquest on A. B. Wallett, chemist, Green Island, the evidence of his wife was to the effect that deceased had gone up stairs to deep during the night, and mixed himself a dose of chloral hydrate and morphia. He did not seem to know what he was doing with pain, and took medicine in a frequent and reckless manner. She took the bottle I from him, as he was- then ill. She sent 1 for a doctor, who administered doses, but
neither were effective. The medical evidence showed death to be caused by an overdose of morphia and chloral hydrate. A verdict to this effect was given.
