WHARF LABORERS' STRIKE.
The aspect of the wharf laborers strike is .unchanged. Mr M'Tlw'raith, ownei of the steamer Norkoowaz, yielded to the demands of the men, but the other shipowners remain firm. In the case of vessels from England, the crews are loading and discharging ships. 60 men have been engaged in Adelaide and will go to work shortly. (Received January 7, at 1.30 a.m.) The shipowners are fenciug in their wharves to prevent intimidation of their men by the leaders of the strike, and the police are strictly enforcing a clause in the city bye-laws, compelling persons to move on and not obstruct the footways.
