BRUNNERTON.
[FROtf OUR CORRESPONDENT.] Brunnerton, September 23. A fire occurred last evening in a hut near Noonan's Commercial Hotel, Wallsend. The occupants were away at work at the time the fire was discovered, but fortunately Mrs Noonan, with a- good crowd of friends was at hand and promptly extinguished the fire. Had the wind been stronger, nothing could have saved either the Commercial Hotel, or ' Mrs Lark's boarding-house. The cause of the fire ia supposed to be through, caielessness. The owner of the hut is unknown, but it is rumored that it belongs to Mr Kane, baker , Greymouth.
