Apropos of the grant just asked from Parliament on behalf of the Princess Beatrice, it may be noted, by the way, that the bargain asserted to have been made between the Crown and the country has proved an advantageous one to our Princes and Princesses, as a glance at the results will show. In addition to Her Majesty's civil list of £385,000 per annum, the following annuities are paid to members of the : —
