UNITED METHODIST FREE CHURCH ASSEMBLY.
Aucklajsd, January 16. The United Methodist Free Church Assembly met yesterday, when the Rev. S. M'Farlane acted as representative of the Connexional Assembly at Home ; Rev. C. Worboys was elected chairman ; and Rev. E. 0. Perry, secretary. Votes of thanks : vere passed to Rev. Messrs Taylor and Perry for services as chairman and secretary during the past year. An animated and lengthy debate took place respecting the division of the church circuit, and it was agreed to accede to the request that the church circuit should be formed into two separate circuits.
