Auckland, Jan. 16. i The mail steamer was detained ten days, owing to the breaking of the crank pin. The Wakatipu has been ordered to take the mails and passengers for Sydney. ; ' Arrived— Mara val, from London, with 350 immigrants. \ A man named James Little and a child was drowned at Riverhead. [ | James Fennell, was committed for trial for stealing L4O from John Allen, Manakau Heads.
