THE WESTLAND SCHOOLS.
Appended to the report of the Inspector of Schools is the following return, showing the order of the first class in : each school in the subjects named, irrespective of age. The first two columns, the Inspector states, are reliable. In the last two the schools are ranked according to the ratios of "good" readers and writers in each class to the whole class :—
