SOLES’ CIRCUS
COMING NEXT THURSDAY There will ho great excitement among the young folk—and many of the older ’folk, too—on Thursday next, February IS, when Sole Brothers’ big circus and animal show will arrive to give live- performances in, Gisborne, three nights and two matinees. The circus has recently completed a. remarkably successful season in Auckland and Waikato towns,,, and the whole of the show is, being taken on the country circuit. The big programme, to. be offered at Gisborne includes the sensational wild animal act by Captain Andrew, and other breath-taing turns by elephants horses, dogs and other animals. Another act that has earned great praise wherever shown is the Bozelle troupe of girl acrobats. The programme also includes' La. Belle Alarie, swinging and balancing trapeze artist; Story and Lindsay, acrobats; the Lenten; Sisters, flying trapeze artists ; the Nine Delcos, tumbling maniacs ; James Ashton, the great whip cracker; the Franchette troupe, beautiful posing on ladders ; Babette, wonder contortionist; Loco and Chico, Continental acrobats; the . Ridgway family; George London and his trained elephants, and an army of funny clowns.
