Representing an aggregate payment of £613,851, the proceeds of the second Auckland wool sale, which havo been distributed to growers this week, reflect the most favourable season for the last 12 years. The cheque, easily surpasses £518,750 realised .by tho January sale in 1925, and brings tlie total distribution for the two Auckland sales this season to £1,053,121, as against £935,621 for all three sales last season. Thu total compares with £324,081 obtained from the second sale of 1935-36 season, and £139,270 for the November sale of this season.
