MORE OPPOSITION FROM RAILWAY STAFFS (Press, Association). ' DUNFDIN. July 13. At a. special meeting held yesterday', the Otago branch of the Railway Officers’ Institute passed the following motions unanimously “(I). That this branch dissociates itself from the one big imioii movement. ‘-‘(2) That until such t'-mc as tire conference approves, or otherwise, of the one big union movement and definitely decides’for or against the project, this branch refrains from taking any action or part, in any meeting held for that purpose, and that any action taken by any member will he unofficial, and unrecognised.” HAMILTON. . July .13. A meeting of the Frankton branch ftf 'the Locomotive Engineers; Firemen J and Cleaners’ Association emphatically opposed the proposal Hint the railwayman should form one big union.
