BOROUGH COUNCIL (Special to Times) At. tlic.us.ual monthly meeting of: tli-e Council a letter was received <rom theTaurangtM 'Borough Council ashing . for support in urging tlio Post-master-General to consider the removal of! the Chief Post Office from Thames to Tau-ranga. It was decided to give support. The secretary- of St. John’s Presbyterian Church thanked the council lor the prompt miinncr in wine l ' the work had been carried out at the church property. The Valuation Department wrote stating that, owing to pressure of work, the department would be unable to. make a revaluation of the borough for about two years.
