ATTACK ON EGYPT?

NO PLANS IN GOVERNMENT'S POSSESSION.

In the House of Commons to-day, Viscount Cranborno, the Under-Sec-retary for Foreign A Hairs, finally disposed of question of which notice bad been given by flic .Liberal member for Wolverhampton. East, Mr Geoffrey Lo M. Marnier, asking if flic Foreign Secretary would state the nature of the plans for ,-m attack on Egypt found in an Italian stall aeroplane which crashed in the Sudan last .August, and what representations wore made to the .Italian Government and what action was taken. Viscount Cranborno stated that no plans relating to an Italian attack on Egypt came into the possession of the Government in the midsummer of 1935. When-on Juno 24, Viscount Cninborno previously denied that plans of any description were found in the wreckage of an Italian aeroplane, Mr Marnier reiterated the truth of his assertion and said ho, would repeat tlui question, originally made on June 22, in a different form to-day.
