ANNUAL MEETING (Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 12. The annual; meeting oi' the shareholders otf the Panic of New Zealand was held to-day. •/The motion for the adoption of the annual report was unanimously adopted. Mr C. J. S. Haircourt said the chairman had. covered the .ground very fully,- but -he thought that remarks Air Pattcifeon had made in regard to' the London, staff applied equally to* the New Zealand staff, and that not only the -shareholders and hanks’ customers, hut. the, public generally, wore quite satisfied with tho way in which, they had been, met by the staff. The chairman thank'd filiarobohlers foi« the vote of thanks they had passed; to the directons. It was plca.s T ant to receive the appreciation of the shareholders of the effort's of the directors and staff. Mr William Watson., a share-hold-ers’ -director, returned thanks for His re-election.
