WEBBINGS.
NICOL—AMUNDSEN. A quiet hut pretty wedding took place on Saturday afternoon at the Presbyterian Qhurcli, Te Karaka, the Rev. Russell Spence officiating, when Elsyo Mita May, fifth daughter of Mr and Mrs Albert Amundsen (Wliatatu.tu) was married to George, oldest son of Mr and Mrs G. Nicoll, Dundee, Scotland. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a. maroon lace frock and beige hat, with gloves and shoes to match. A sheaf of gladiolus and asparagus fern was carried. She was attended by Miss Lsobel . Osier, of Wairoa, cousin of the bridegroom, who was attired in a biege lace frock with bat and shoes to tone. She also carried a sheaf of gladiolas and asparagus fern. 'Die best man was Mr A. J. Ainundsen, the bride’s brother. The wedding breakfast was held at the home of the bride’s parents, where a large number of near friends and relatives assembled. The guests were welcomed by Mrs Amundsen, who wore an ensemble of navy blue crepe do chine with hat and shoes to tone.
Many valuable and useful presents were received and also numerous congratulatory messages. The future home of Mr and. Mrs Nieol is at Matawai.
