She was a leading member of the Tiniroto Women’s Institute and took a very keen interest in the Institute movement generally. A very charming hostess, her home at Ruakituri was the centre of much social activity. She will be sadly missed by her host of friends in the R-uakituri district, Gisborne and other parts of the Bay.
