TRANS-OGEAN SERVICES UNITED STATES MAKING AGREEMENTS (U.P.A. by Elea. Tel. Copyright.) (Received April 25, 8 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 24. By a series of treaties eliminating diplomatic complications, a way has been opened for the development of transoceanic air servl v.‘S, both American and foreign. A newly-signed agreement wiib Britain, sniping off yards of ‘‘red tape” heretofore . necessary lor flights from one country to auothe", is disclosed as one of a large and growing number of such agreements r?hich arc already in effect with Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, South Africa and most of the Western Hemisphere countries. One is to be negotiated with Australia soon. The effect of the Anglo-American Treaty is explained as providing for the routine issuance of an American pilot of a license to fly over any of the British areas named in the agreement. A British pilot gets the same concessions regarding American areas.
