INITIAL CONSCRIPTION REGULATIONS; REQUIREMENTS OF VARIOUS ARMS’. S' (U.P.A. by JEleo. Tel. Ooxrigbt) (Received- April 19, 5 p.m.) BERLIN, April 18. The first announcement concerning conscription consists of a regulation in respect of medical examination, defining the requirements for various arms. Infantry must he able to stand long marches; cavalry wants longlogged men not weighing over 1431 bs, artillerymen must "be slender and strong; motor corps recruits must'he alert, good sighted and intelligent, which are also the requirements for signallers.
