FIRST LOCAL .GAME. CELTIC BEAT OLD BOVS. Under unfavorable weather conditions, the local Rugby season opened at the Oval on Saturday with a practice match between. Celtic and Old Roys seniors. Celtic, who- are to com pete in, the Spillano Cup competition at Napier during Fasten, proved themselves a very fit team and! won by 15—0 after a game which was. remarkably good considering the conditions and the earliness of the season. Carrington., who is captaining Celtic, was also in splendid form and showed all his old-time clash. There were several good' hack movements, especially by Celtic.
