TRIPLETS ON TRAIN
SENSATION ON FLYING SCOTSMAN. BABIES DO NOT SURVIVE. (U.P.A. by Elec. Tel. Owyueht) (Received April 14, 6.30 p.m.) LONDONj April 13. The Flying Scotsman, en route from London to Edinburgh was held up for forty-five minutes at Aynmouth, owing to Mrs. Sarah Monaghan, of Bathgate, giving birth to triplets in a compartment. She was attended by two medical, students aboard the train, while a doctor and an ambulance were hurriedly summoned and the woman was rushed to Aynmouth Infirmary four miles away. The triplets did not survive. The woman is stated to be progressing.
