Prospects of the Gisborne Marist team in the Spilhine Cup competition, open to Marist teams throughout the Dominion, appear very bright; and the side Avhieli leaves Gisborne for Napier on Friday next- should proA'e a very solid proposition for' opposing teams. The tournament opens on Saturday morning next- and probably the local representatives will be called on to play three games.
