The Agricultural Adjustment Admin istration estimates that about- 550.000,000 dollars will be paid to farmers in 1935 for participation in the production control programme. This is 20,000,000 dollars less than was paid! in 1934. Although the entire Agricultural Aljustment Administration is under attack in Congress, there is no indication that the Administration intends to rescind the process taxes on basic commodities with which to pro vide bounties to farmers for .less production.
