CRIPPLED CHILDREN
T.ORD NUFFIELD’S GIFT AUSTRALIA’S PLANS (U.P.A. by Elec. Tel. Copyright.) (Received April 9. 8.25 p.m.) CANBERRA, April 9. Mr W. Hughes. Federal Minister of Health, announced in the House of Representatives to-day a scheme for the disbursement of the £50.000 given by Lord Nuffield for tbe aid of crippled children in Australia. The money will be vested in the Minister of Health as trustee, and will be directed to the building up in each State of a sound co-ordinative pl an along the linen des red by Lord Nufffckir while steps will be taken to ensure that a further income will be available.
