AUSTRALIAN CITRUS FRUITGROWERS. REMOVAL OF EMBARGO SOUGHT (U.P.A. by 'Elec. Tei. Copy rigut) CANBERRA, May IS. A deputation of the Federal Citrus Council of Australia requested the Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, to take immediate action to secure the removal of,'the embargo ’on citrus fruits for New Zealand, as the retention of that market was very vital in view of the difficulty attendant upon export to oflier markets, while local markets already were overtaxed by this season’s output. The Prime Minister replied that the' representations would receive their- immediate attention. The .Government would tak e tile matter up again with New Zealand.
