General Higgins, head of the Salvation Army, has refused official approval of the “Life of General Brain* well Booth,” written by his daughter, Commissioner Catherine Booth, to be published in May. It will not be on sale in the Salvation Army bookshops, though Salvationists are not actually forbidden to read the book. General Higgins disapproves of the reference to the passage of the Salvation Army Bill through Parliament.
