Afr. L. Wagner, an elderly farmer of Ohiwa, was admitted to Opotiki hospital with a. broken leg. The full extent of his injuries will not, be known until ho is X-rayed. Air. Wagner was using a mowing machine and, whilst on the ground adjusting it, lie was severely kicked by a. horse. A neighbour, Mr. Holloway, conveyed. the-injured man to the hospital. His condition is reported to be satisfactory.
