The first river race of the Olympic Club will take place to-morrow (Wednesday) at 5.30 p.m. over an approximate course of 220 yards, from the band rotunda to the Peel street bridge. This event is an inter-club fixture for the DeCosta Cup, the present holder of which is L Muir, and entries to allow for handicapping "will bo received up to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
