There way a very brisk market, values showing a hardening tendency. Competition was particularly keen. Greasy merino ‘comeback ilecces sold to14d. The average price of wool auctioned last week was £lO 11s 7d pe r bale.

The wool sold ai the Sydney wool sales last week averaged from Sd to 27d per lb.
