TURTLE WITH' DUa h CONTROL
Scientists in the laboritories ol the General Electric Co ~ at Sheneetady, State of New York, recently liad a two-headed turtle under their microscopes. The turtle has two mouths to feed one stomach. It is in excellent health, and waddles about the laboritories unabashed. It has a division in. its spinal column, and the two heads terminate tho ends of a <r Y” spine (says the. United Press). The two Loads appear to behave normally. They react independently. Each controls the two legs on its side of the body. Occasionally the turtle attempts to travel in opposite directions at the same time. Tho scientists have observed one head' awake while tho other droops in sleep. One head has been seen under the water while the other is above the surface.
