-MEETING OF COMMITTEE
Tbc weekly meeting of the G.A.A. and lI.C. was bold last evening, there being present Messrs Q. McCoy (chairman), F. McDonald, W. Campbell, A. Ingram, It. Wildish, W. Wildish, (J-. Quinn, E. Smith, P. McMahon, and J. E. Mercer (bon. sec.) A letter was received from the Master ton Athletic Club, stating that the Wellington Centre had allotted to that club the country club's championships for this year A very hearty vote of thanks was passed to th© competitors and to all those who assisted in making the Xew Year sports a success. Accounts amounting to £36 7s 2d were parsed for payment. A very hearty vote of thanks was passed to the ladies who assisted at the dance on New Year’s Eve. The programme Tor the lyoekly meeting to be held next Thurisday wa s passed as follows: 100 yards junior handicap, ] l miles cycle, handicap, 440 yards fiat handicap, .Indies’ broad jump handicap, men’s broad jump handicap, ladies’ relay, men’s re lay, men’s shot putt, 100 yards ladies handicap. A lengthy discussion was held re a challenge for the Etovenaux Cup, now held by the Hastings Club, and it was deoided to leave all arrangements in the hands of the secretary, •in regard tot making the challenge.
