They have blocked all the roads with I roe trunks and by digging pits and cutting telephonic communications wi percent reinforcements of troops reaching the scene of operations. Five hundred troops were forced to withdraw after a clash with 1000 peasants. while ip another district 3000 peasants, pursued State troops who tried to penetrate the hills. The peasants are n-owin complete possession of the districts and are firmly entrenched.
