IT. GRAY’S DISQUALIFICATION. INCREASED. (Press Association.i AUCKLAND, Jan. 5. The decisions given by the Judicial Committee of the Dargavillo Racing Club on December 19 in connection with the running of the President’s Handicap at Dargavillo on December 3 were considered by the Auckland District Committee of the New Zealand Racing Conference, when appeals which had been lodged wore considered. The following decision were given:
H. Gray's term of disqualification for three years was increased to disqualification for life. R. A. Powell’s disqualification for three years was confirmed. A, G. Murray’s disqualification for two years was reduced to one year. Iri L. Clifford’s case, the disqualification for one year was reduced to suspension for six months. R. E. A. Horne’s disqualification for one year was confirmed. The President’s Handicap carried a. stake of £125 and was run over a distance of nine furlongs.' It resulted as follows: 4 Alloy (W. H. Marias') 5.9 (O. W. McKinally) 1 ; 1 Tetrarebate (C. M. Emanuel’s) 7.0 (H. Gilmer )2; 5 Hannibal (H. Swaffiold’s) 7.0 (R. Borne) 3. Also started: 3 Bronze Tray (R. A. Powell’s) 9.5 (A. G. Murray); 2 Thespis (G. Hodgson’s) 7.4 car. i .0* (L. Clifford). Won hv half a length, with a length between second and third. Time 2min. 1 4-osec. H. Grey, of Takanini, was trainer of Thespis, and R. A. Powell, of Dargaville. was t]ie owner of Bronze Tray.
