While making the descent from Mount Relies ton yesterday one. of a party of climbers, Miss Bessie l.orimer, fell down a steep slope aud was dashed against some jagged rocks, receiving a broken ankle, a sprained wrist; and bruises. 'the rest of the party had an arduous task carrying her to the Arthur’s Pass hostel over rough countrv in the rain. Miss l.orjmer is progressing welt. Miss Loriiuer, who obtained her AI. Ss. degree as a student of Canterbury College, is an assistant of AfrA. E. Aldridge, analytical chemist and biologist, of Kelvin. Chambers, AA r elliugtou.' She was visiting Canterbury on her auuual leave.
