At the wool sales, 9307 hales were offered, and 044 S sold at auction, 132 c being disposed of privately. There was a brisk demand for all sections of the trade- Amines for merinos were equal to the previous day. Crossbreds showed a hardening tendency. The Japanese demand war mest pronounced. Greasy merino made to 144 d. The average price for wool sold at Sydney during the first six months of fhbi season was £ll 7s 3d per hale o r S.Td per lb.
