Tli« Daily Herald’s Amsterdam correspondent interviewed the ex-Ivai-ser’s chief marshal at Doom apropos of th t , wedding of the Crown Prince of Sweden to the daughter ol: the Duke of Suxe-Cohurg on October 21. The Chief Marshal said the exKaiser would like to be present, but did mot contemplate, asking permission. , The ex-Kaiser wishes to remain in Holland until the German people ask him to come hack. By the German people, he meant the Na, tional Government, embracing all political parties. Asked whether the Von Pa pen Government was really a national Government, the Chief Marshal replied: “Yes,' 1 though the Socialists and the Communists are npt represented.. They deliberately placed themselves outside the German people.”
