Craws for the first trial fours series to be conducted by .the Poverty Bay JLowing Club were selected last evening. The number of nominations was sufficient for seven c-rews. Davidson GISBORNE CL LB At a meeting of the committee of the Gisborne Rowing Club, held in the club-house last evening, A. -McLean, I. Corn, J. B. Ferny R. A. Gavin, T. Alexander, C. G. Van Dyke were elected members. Accounts amounting to £93 Us 9d were passed for payment. It was decided to run a;' sculling ladder and November 1 was fixed as the closing time for entries. Official coxswains were appointed as follows: 'Nelson. Briffauit, Burue, Harries. Bruce, Hunkey and Hanna.
