Owing to bis being frequently absent from Gisborne. the retiring chairman. Mr. Holder, did not accept nomination for the position ibis season, and a vote of thanks -was passed Lo liim for bis valuable >ev vices in the past, reference being made to Lite great amount of t-me Mr. Holder had devoted to the affairs of the club. It was also decided that one officer should carry out the duties of secretary and treasurer, and tlie retiring secretary. Mr. B. Palmer. was warmly thanked for lis .services. In regard to subscriptions, it was agreed that, owing to the present depression, members not able to pay their subscriptions in full should be allowed to pay them by instalments.
