MAIZE MARKET
The maize market ik still well supplied with South African, which, sells readily at ;6s 4d to 6s 5d per bushel. New season’s maize from the Bay of Plenty is being offered, and sonic changes hands ,for direct railage at about 4s- 6d per bushel to tho grower on trucks. City merchants are chary' of stowing it until the grain is further matured.—Auckland Star..
