SYDNEY. December 31. The Lang Labor Government pf New South Wales lias been rewarding its industrial and political supporters with a whole case of plums, the crop tins season being -a bumper one. Trades Hall officials especially have been favored. There are 21 Trades Hall officials in (fie. last balc-h of appointments to flip Legis’at ire Council. Next to the union officials, most consideration ha-.? been given to defeated Labor candidates. Jlutt. formerly organiser of the A lent Industry Employees’ Union. and defeated Labor candidate for the Land Cove seat in the Stale Parliament, a member of the Meat Board, £I.OOO a. year. A. D. Kay, appointed fo the Meat Board by the previous Lang Administration, and removed by Bavin Adm infiltration, reappointed by the. present Lang A.dmiry/vtrotkiii, ,a mem Ik: r of the Aleut Board, £10(10 a year.
